ST. CLOUD, Minn. (Jan. 4, 2013)—Polar Tank Trailer, North America’s largest producer of dry and liquid bulk tank trailers, has named Jeff Behrens director of purchasing.

Based in Opole, Minn., Behrens is responsible for procurement and logistics for the company’s three manufacturing plants. Previously, Behrens was division controller for Polar Service Centers. He was controller for Polar Tank Trailer from 1997 to 2011.

“Jeff’s financial and management experience at Polar, including his extensive knowledge of our operations and supplier relationships, are great assets as we grow and support our customers,” said Jim Painter, president of Polar Tank Trailer.

Behrens has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Buena Vista University and a CPA designation.

Polar Tank Trailer designs and builds aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel tank trailers for bulk cargoes, including oil and fuel, food products, asphalt, chemicals, and corrosives. The company has plants in Opole and Holdingford, Minn., and Springfield, Mo.
