POLAR SERVICE CENTERS OPENS LOCATION IN KILLDEER, N.D., TO SERVE TANK CARRIERS IN THE BAKKEN OILFIELDS

ST. CLOUD, Minn., March 30, 2012—Polar Service Centers has opened a location in Killdeer, N.D., the heart of the Bakken Shale oilfields and one of the fastest-growing oil-producing areas in the country.

“We’re excited to provide tank parts and service in the Bakken Shale district,” said Mike Evans, president of Polar Service Centers. “Already, there’s tremendous demand for aftermarket parts and experienced technicians who can work on any brand of tank.”

Polar Service Center’s Killdeer location has 4,800 square feet for service, parts, and office space. In May, it will double to 9,600 square feet with a total of five service bays. Initially, technicians from other Polar Service Center locations will staff the facility on a rotating basis and be housed onsite.

Other services at Killdeer include CHM-183 and D.O.T. inspections as well as brake, suspension, and other preventive maintenance work.
